My new present! Hubby picked me up 2 of these last night so that I can plant something for real and stop putting seeds in the semi-frozen ground outside. I’ll be the first to admit – I am no gardening expert. Just an enthusiast. Successes and failures both around here. I still think my beets and peas will grow outside, but it may take a little longer than I want it to since it has been snowing (grrrrrr.) He got these at Walmart for about $4.50 a pop. The containers are rather flimsy, but it will do for my purposes. Now, what should I put in them??? I am going to transplant a few of the seedlings that have come up double in my original seeds so that I only have one per pot and they won’t just have to be destroyed. I don’t know how well that will work, though the only ones I left after thinning weren’t near each other so their root systems shouldn’t be intertwined.
